Nancy Ann Notermann Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Our beloved sister and aunt, Nancy Ann Notermann, was born in Compton, CA, on 12/8/48 and passed away on 10/17/2021 at the age of 72. Nancy graduated from Hawthorne H.S., in Hawthorne, CA, where she was involved in various school activities, including Student Council, Cheer Leading and the service group, Diaconians, At Long Beach State, in Long Beach CA, she received a Bachelor's degree in Art, specializing in Ceramics. Nancy lived in Seal Beach, CA, while she attended college. In 1968, Nancy moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, with sisters Eileen and Ellen. She loved everything about Hawaii, becoming an avid surfer and enjoying evenings dancing at the Beef and Grog in Waikiki. She returned to the mainland in 1969 to finish her studies. Nancy, along with her sister Ellen, moved to Mammoth Lakes, CA, in 1975, where she became an expert skier. Loving the ocean, she later moved to Pismo Beach on the Central Coast of CA where she lived for the rest of her life. Nancy is survived by sister Ellen Notermann; nephew, Ryan Bond (Jena Scholten); nieces, Erin Bond (Matt Ding), Sydney Bond (Doug); great nephews, Hazel Bond (Ryan and Jena), Michael Bond (Sydney and Doug) and many cousins. She was preceeded in death by parents, Albert J. Notermann and Lucele M. Notermann; sister Eileen (Notermann) Bond; grandparents, Anton Notermann and Catherine (Schmidt) Notermann; Fred Weinzierl and Theresia (Dressen) Weinzierl and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
