CREMATION Direct Cremation.................................................................$1297.56 There are a lot of options with cremation at Reis Family Mortuaries & Crematory we have a cremation for every budget.  It can be as simple as cremation or what is referred to as "'direct" or "basic" cremation . The remains is removed from the home or other facility, and refrigerated until  a death certificate, and burial permit are  obtained, and arrangements for the cremation are made. After the cremation is complete the remains ar placed in a temporary urn and returned to the family, to be kept at the residence. (Scattering @ Sea starts @ $150.00). Cremation with Memorial Service.........................................From $1815.00 This package includes direct cremation( see direct cremation above ) followed by a memorial service. Cremation with embalming, Viewing, &  Funeral service, or Mass ...From $2730.00 Standard alternative container(casket) memorial book and cards, and choice of one of several urns. (other packages are available.) With this package the remains embalmed, dressed & placed in a cremation casket for a viewing, followed by a funeral service or mass, and cremation. with the cremated remains kept at home, scattered at sea, or intered is a cemetery (scattering and cemetery charges are not included.) Discounts & Military honors are available for honorably discharged veterans. Cremation packages with services  are available M onday thru Friday 9am -5pm . additional charges apply for weekends holidays, and evenings.
