Cremation Services

At Reis Family Mortuaries & Crematory we offer a variety of cremation plans to fit every need from simple Direct Cremation with no memorial service  to traditional funeral services followed by cremation with disposition @ sea. burial or home retention.

Direct Cremation.........................................................$ 1205.00-2395

Our charges for direct cremation (without ceremony) includes basic services of funeral director & staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs, removal of remains(within 40 miles,) necessary authorizations, one day refrigeration, and cremation process. Alternative containers encase the body, are required by law and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composite materials. The ones we provide are fiberboard.  Cremated remains are returned to the family in a plastic urn, (you may provide a permanent container, or purchase a permanent container from us.if you wish.) All alternative containers must meet any applicable State of California, Crematory or Cemetery requirements.
